It was well worth... read more paying for the private car with Achmed always ready on hand to take us from one site to the next - the air conditioning was a lifesaver! Our guide, Abdul, was an expert in ancient Egypt and even showed us parts of Karnak that he had helped restore. It is a very long day - 4am pick up - but well worth it. Be prepared plenty of water, hat, sunglasses, walking shoes, small notes for coffee stops and toilet, travel sweets for the desert ride. The alabaster stop is fun, there is no pressure to buy but the items are so beautiful you can't not! An excellent day with lovely, very hard working people to help every step of the way. Can't recommend enough.

One highlight from the day was Karnak temple as the guide has done his own project there and was able to tell us personal stories which I will remember forever.

We were picked up at the airport on arrival, no waiting around, helped with our luggage & swiftly taken to our accommodation. We were given our WiFi units to be able to contact home & start uploading those all important holiday snaps. We booked various excursions this holiday quad biking, horse riding & dolphin house. We have done dolphin house many times and it never gets old. From being picked up in the morning to being dropped off in the afternoon/evening the whole day is filled with laughter & making life long memories. Horse riding was a new one for me, my daughter had done it previously but this was my first time. As everything I've don't through Tourific Excursions, it didn't disappoint. An absolutely amazing day, the horses are so friendly & clearly so well looked after. The guys at the stables clearly genuinely love those horses.

Visited the museum, pyramids, boat trip on the river nile and a couple of stops at some other places. Water included and lunch. One of the best trips and the most organised while being away. Great prices as well, as talking to others they paid a lot more.
